On
the year 2001, it was transferred to Nasser Institute for Research and
Treatment which is located at Kornish El Nil, Aghakan.The Library
contains about 118 medical periodi cals in different scientific
specialties to be increased according to the needs of the visiting
doctors. The Library contains around 3000 books and Medical text in
different specialties . The Library is open from 9 a.m to 6 p.m, The
whole week except on Fridays and national holidays.
There
are 15 Computers sets connected to the Internet for free for the doctors
for the sake of research and preparation of their scientific essays and
thesis's.There's a Computer lab in the library for training of
doctors and nurses to gain computer skills and to know how to deal with
the internet and medical search.
There's
a Conference hall in the library supplied with all educational
facilities for round table discussion among doctors and for training
courses for doctors and nurses. There's also a video room for
visualizing scientific films and operations.A
library for scientific video tabs and discs is under construction
(Multimedia room).
The
library has been signed the Document Delivery Agreement with the Easten
mediterrnian office of the world health organization (EMRO) to help the
medical researcher to get the fulltext articles from libraies out side
Egypt with very minimal cost. |
