Nephrology & Dialasys Unit

Ranked among the famous nephrology and kidney transplantation center in Egypt, Nasser Institute nephrology and renal transplantation center has become a regional renal center serving the needs of both adult and pediatric patients with renal diseases from Egypt and other Arab countries.. Nasser  institute dialysis unit was opened in 1990 . The unit now boasts 40 dialysis stations and is open all days of the week. Average of 120 hemodialysis sessions were done in the unit per day. Nasser institute dialysis unit is also the center for peritoneal dialysis and slow continuous modalities, with a full time staff ready to meet the needs of peritoneal dialysis and critically ill patients.

Thirty beds serve the patients of acute and chronic renal diseases. Outpatient clinics and emergency department receive patients 24 hours a day for all the days of the week. Referrals are received from other hospitals of Ministry of Health and Health Insurance and from other centers in Egypt and Arab countries.
